Start in business in 1924, the historic behind Roy & Fils Ltée confirms the talent of it's employees and the quality of the services offered.

1924

Louis Roy establish Roy & Fils Ltée. He then specializes in installing and repairing carpets.

1933

Death of Louis. With all the energy of his 21 years his son Jean will carry on with the business and give it a new life.

1947

Roy & Fils Ltée, becomes, a registered company.

1960

The enterprise moves into the present building located at 3399, Crémazie blvd east in Montreal, Jean finds contracts while brother Raymond looks after retail sales.

1971

Roy & Fils Ltée innovates by introducing a new commercial sales department. From now on, Roy & Fils Ltée, will be selling the products that they install.

1977

André G. Roy leaves the chartered accountant firm where he is an associate. He then brings new ideas and creates different changes which will prove to be very beneficial for Roy & Fils Ltée.

1984

André G. Roy becomes CEO of the enterprise. For the one that as assured the continuity of the enterprise, his greatest reward is to see the name of Roy & Fils Ltée very well recognised on the floor covering market of Quebec.

2004

80th anniversary for Roy & Fils Ltée , a leader in the floor covering field with a team of experienced specialist and an enviable reputation. The commercial, industrial and institutional sections of our activities keep on progressing with dynamism and excellence.

2005

April the 14th 2005, Mr. Rosaire Bessette acquires all the shares of Roy & Fils Ltée and becomes President and General Director to assure the continuity of the enterprise founded in 1924 keeping in mind the primary reason for the being of the company, that is, customer service.
