Detergent
Mix 1 tsp of liquid dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of warm (not hot) water.
Pre-soak solutions
Mix 1 tsp of an enzyme soaking solution (Axion, Biz, etc.) with 1 cup of warm water.
Hydrogen peroxide
Mix 4 liquid oz of 3% hydrogen peroxide (can be obtained in pharmacies) with 1 liquid
oz of household ammonia (soapy type). Use within 2 hours of preparation.
Ammonia
Household use, undiluted, soapy type containing detergent.
Vinegar
White, undiluted.
Dry powder cleaner
Powdered carpet cleaners (Host, Capture, Blue Luster, etc.).
Dry cleaning solvent
Non-oily, non-caustic dry type used for removing spots from clothing. Caution: may
be flammable.
